National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage rates from April 2019

Announced in the Budget of 29 October 2018

The new National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage rates to be in force from April 2019 are as below:

*workers aged 25 and over (the National Living Wage)*£7.83£8.21
*21-24 year olds*£7.38£7.70
*18-20 year olds*£5.90£6.15
*16-17  year olds*£4.20£4.35
*apprentices aged under 19 or in the first year of their apprenticeship.*£3.70£3.90
