ACAS has published 2 new guides aimed at both employers and employees explaining rights of parents taking time off for antenatal appointments and potential rights to leave for those in the midst of a surrogacy arrangement.

The organisation receives around 39,000 calls to its helpline each year from employers and employees about such parental issues and it is hoped these new guides will clarify the new law.
